Movie Story
The Odyssey follows Odysseus, the legendary king of Ithaca, as he begins a dangerous journey home after the Trojan War.
After years of war, Odysseus must cross the vast and treacherous seas while facing terrifying creatures, powerful gods and supernatural forces that stand between him and his homeland.
Along the journey, he encounters the Cyclops Polyphemus, deadly Sirens and the mysterious goddess Calypso, each presenting a new challenge that tests his courage and determination.
Meanwhile, back in Ithaca, his wife Penelope and son Telemachus struggle to protect their kingdom while waiting for Odysseus to return.
Directed by Christopher Nolan, the film brings Homer's legendary epic to the screen as a massive mythic action adventure filmed entirely with IMAX film cameras.
